Now that the record is out, we will be bringing this show on the road...also when Vast Records releases "Saturnhead, California", and "Introducing...Arizona's Thin Mistake" in the USA, some stateside shows will happen! Stay in tune!
Beyond Supercollider will be coming out on PopGun Records In Australia, also mailorder, etc...This is a single featuring three songs from the new album "Saturnhead, California" along with extremely BRAND NEW stuff on side two...lo-fi underground pop magic! PS: The mixes on side one are different than the album mixes...
The magic of Saturnhead, California is now available through Sonic Unyon in this country (Vast Records/Darling Music) Rest assured this will be the one that pushes our gang over the top, and into the ranks of virtual super-star-obscurity! The wonderful folks at 100 Guitar Mania Records in Japan will be releasing some BRAND NEW stuff, along with stuff from the last record very soon! Perhaps even a double 7" vinyl record! Who knows...
The last album "Introducing...Arizona's Thin Mistake" is still available from Resolution Records in Canada, and will be released just after Christmas 1998 on Vast Records so pick it up! Check out what the press had to say somewhere on this website
Terry has provided Darling Music with a whole truckload of four track stuff this month, and we'll upload even more toons to the 'Sounds' page. Hopefully we'll get more stuff from the long lost "Capricornicus Tex", and "Your smart friends are gonna love this". (just uploaded "Bad Letters" from "Smart Friends..." in MP2 format...we will be adding songs from "Saturnhead, California" in MP3 format...stay tuned...
Terry is already working on the new(!) Saturnhead album, and Kevin has been seen playing guitar with Greg and Jamie about town...Strike Force(!) style...
Word has it that the first video for the new album will be once again produced and directed by us wonderful folks right here at Darling Music!
Saturnhead may have a hand in the new (coming soon) Darling Music store right here in Vancouver! Plus the band will most likely be attempting that improvisation night stuff that Terry has been planning for some time...no songs, just pure pop improv...not that wank, dark crap, real songs made up on the spot, and recorded of course...for us to bring to you!
Terry has been spotted sitting in parks, and riding on trains...culling inspiration for a notebook full of new songs...gulp...another album in the works? Actually he has finished songs for more than four albums worth of modern popular beat group music...yeah, yeah, yeah!
